CrossFit Territory

  • Eat meat and veg­eta­bles, nuts and seeds, some fruit, lit­tle starch and no sugar. Keep intake to lev­els that will sup­port exer­cise but not body fat. Prac­tice and train major lifts: Dead­lift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Sim­i­larly, mas­ter the basics of gym­nas­tics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to hand­stand, pirou­ettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these ele­ments in as many com­bi­na­tions and pat­terns as cre­ativ­ity will allow. Rou­tine is the enemy. Keep work­outs short and intense.     Ellie — KTE’s are Knees To Elbows. Dead hang off bar, lift knees up til they touch your elbows. Each one has to be from a dead hang so you cant get a swing up for the next one (its tempt­ing to do that), each one has to be under con­trol. They suck, you will love them.

    I did the 20 Amrap today
    power snatch 12, and push up 10
    Kenno said i got 15 rounds
    I though i got 16
    but you never know when doing these WODs. Because your brain is fried, your heart is at at least 300 BPM and you have spew or some­thing com­ing from every ori­fice of your body.…(EEERRRHHH)
    might i add though his form was impec­ca­ble, and he said mine was but i refer to the above again.

    ah a day of rest for my torn hands — blacky and I toyed with some max dead­lift but with no challk and no abil­ity to drop the weights at the globo gym our grip was fail­ing at 130kg — gunna have to have a crack at the box in the com­ing weeks.

    Hang­ing out to see what wednes­days wod will bring — more pain I assume?

    Both male and female win­ners from CFX though.
